Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation

The choices the Archbishop Desmond Tutu made and acted on reverberated through the halls of power; not because of the size of his army or social media following, but due to his moral authority. The world is in a state of great flux. The Arch’s heavy toolbox of love, compassion, equality and reconciliation must be picked up and put to work by younger people. As his legacy foundation it is our task to maintain these tools, keep them sharp and make them accessible. As the Arch said: "People are beginning to realize that you can't have pockets of prosperity in one part of the world and huge deserts of poverty and deprivation and think that you can have a stable and secure world." The struggle for human rights and justice continues.
