The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN Human Rights) is the leading UN entity on human rights. We represent the world's commitment to the promotion and protection of the full range of human rights set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Strengthening the rule of law and accountability for human rights violations is one of our key priorities and we work with States, national and regional actors, international human rights mechanisms, civil society and the UN system in this effort. We have increased our collaboration with the tech community in the Bay Area and worldwide — using, for example, satellite imagery to expose human rights violations and social media content to corroborate claims of violations of human rights law — and we champion justice and the rights of victims through Commissions of Inquiry and other accountability mechanisms. Our Office is always seeking allies and supporters. For more information, please contact Scott Campbell in our Geneva headquarters.
