The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN Human Rights) is the leading UN entity on human rights. We represent the world's commitment to the promotion and protection of the full range of human rights set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
We have increased our engagement with the tech community in the Bay Area and worldwide ensure that humanity benefits from the digital revolution. As such, we advocate and provide assistance to see that the development and governance of digital technologies are grounded on human rights and reflect highly inclusive, multistakeholder processes.
We need these elements both to address the current human rights challenges related to digital tech today, as well as to be part of agile, long-term solutions that can provide human rights advice to address future and unforeseeable risks of digital technology.
Our Office is always seeking allies and supporters. For more information, please contact Scott Campbell in our Geneva headquarters or Stephanie Seale in the Bay Area.
